Betty5 Stars Out Of 5March 3, 2008BettyWe home school, and this is really great. It is one of the best documentaries on American history I have seen. It is very informative and educational. I learned something with each new section. I wish everyone could see this film.

Tell us a little about yourself. Our mission is to engage the mind through media by producing films that are faith-based, historically accurate, and culturally relevant.
What was your motivation behind this project? To affirm the values that have shaped the destiny of our nation by using the lives of ordinary Americans who achieved the extraordinary and to illustrate American history based on the qualities listed in one of our nation's key foundational writings, the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Our hope is that viewers will realize that ordinary people can change the world - and be inspired to do so!
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Our family gained a better understanding of American history and an appreciation for average Americans who have had an impact on our nation. Also, we were able to visit many historic parks and monuments and met several living history presenters that heroically and diligently preserve our national heritage for future generations.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? Our sources of inspiration came from the lives of those profiled in the film. These ordinary individuals possessed a self-determination, honor, integrity, perseverance, courage, and benevolence that fueled their individual quests for justice, unity, and freedom.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: We The People is an important film for adults and younger viewers alike. The film serves as a great resource for small groups, Constitution Day curriculum, unit studies, Scouting badge work, or enriching family entertainment.
