I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The Peacemaker is the second book in The Mifflin County Mystery series. Rosa's disappearance still lingers throughout the community and affects the people within the community. The book has a lot of twists and turns and throughout the book faith plays a major part.

I can't wait for the next book and the conclusion of the series.

Her disappearance has affected everyone especially those who were close to her. Her best friend, Ada Detweiler, still misses Rosa very much. Her boyfriend, Ephraim Peight, at the time of her disappearance has been blamed by some for her disappearance. Did Ephraim have anything to do with the disappearance? As the story goes on Ada and Ephraim become closer. Rosa's younger sister, Susan, has fallen in love with Ben Ebersol who is known as a daredevil. Rosa's brother, Norman, has looked for a long time for Rosa. He is now looking forward to marrying Salina Swarey in the near future. An arsonist has been setting barns on fire. They are trying to figure out who is doing this. Will they find the person who is setting all these fires? The mystery leaves you wondering how everything will turn out. Another great book by my favorite author, Wanda E. Brunstetter. What will happen in the third book, "The Pretender" coming out in late summer of 2025? Can't wait!!
