Mr. Winky owns a clock shop and spends his days fixing a whole variety of clocks. Big clocks, little ones, dirty ones, odd-shaped ones---you name it, he fixes it! But one day his friend Mr. Glum stops by for a visit and announces that it's simply too loud in the clock shop and he couldn't stay for a visit since he cannot even hear himself think. Mr. Winky gets to thinking. . . and realizes that it is too loud for him to think. Mr. Winky goes on a journey to try and find a place that is absolutely, positively quiet. . . until he realizes that no matter where he goes, the noise simply follows!
