Nelson Hollins5 Stars Out Of 5MOST EXCELLENT understandable English !May 16, 2019Nelson HollinsQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5As soon as you read the first 5 verses of John's Gospel , you are happy to realize what exactly has been said.
No KJV confusion here at all !
Thick ivory paper easy to read. Paragraphs easy to enjoy reading. All 27 Books of N.T. begin on a new full page.
Has enough centre margin space making easier reading.
A next edition's improvement would be to have 10 - 20 blank pages after Rev 22 , especially in a glued spine book. -

Bro JonathanFloridaAge: Over 65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Not a Greek scholar? Wish you lived with one?January 9, 2014Bro JonathanFloridaAge: Over 65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I've been doing Bible study for decades with Bro. Wuest at my side. He brings out the fuller, more precise thought of the original language in a delightfully clumsy translation that honors the Greek that's lost in our English translations. To his scholarly ethic when he just can't resist adding his theology to the translation he places his dispensational bent in [square bracket], which I suggest you just cross out and let the Word of God speak to you minus the creed. (God has His own Life to convey. Creed is a substitute for that.) Read this along with your chosen version and I believe you'll never be without this book. I treat my books very carefully. After 40 years, I've worn out my first Wuest NT and purchased my second. I've purchased many as gifts for serious 'pearl of great price' seekers to enjoy - and they do.

JanieAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Want the Greek meaning? This is it!April 2, 2013JanieAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4It is a paperback so won't hold up over the long haul, BUT!!; it clarifies so much better than looking at different translations. Wuest just does the Greek and that has clarified it so much better for me. It can get a little "wordy", but English is a chevy, Greek is a Lexus.
