Now Thomas is facing the biggest challenge of his lifeconfronted with the task of sacrificing everything he holds dear to try and save what he loves most.
Courageously turning away from the fears that keep other villagers trapped in their routine, Thomas breaks tradition to discover what truths the mountain may hold for him. What he finds will cause him to question everything he has believed, and lead him to life-changing decisions that will affect every aspect of his life.

Karenk5 Stars Out Of 5The MessengerFebruary 27, 2016KarenkQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This was a touching, inspiring story about a man (Thomas) who desires more than his familiar, responsible, complacent life. He learns about letting go and taking risks. The setting of a Norwegian mountain village, beautifully portrayed by the authors, drew me into the journey. There is warmth and a reality to the characters as they interact with each other. I particularly enjoyed the relationship between Thomas and his children - how their lives were changed as his hope was restored. "The Messenger" is a beautiful allegory about the reality and depth of God's love for his children and His deep desire to bring restoration to each one of us.
Karyn5 Stars Out Of 5Hope for your JourneyFebruary 22, 2016KarynQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5In "The Messenger", Thomas learns to step out in faith, leaving the comfortable, stifling existence he's always endured to see the fullness of life God has for him. Learn with Thomas that hope is not wishful thinking that what we want will happen, but the deep assurance that we are loved by a good God, who will be with us through whatever we encounter.
