Trib Force member David finds a delighted surprise as he is attended to medically, to find out one of the nurses is a believer and becomes a new TB member. Nicolae Carpathia's identity is confirmed to the team as the Antichrist by Chaim, even as the world is fawning over the Beast's seemingly amicable nature. The lone rogue in Trib Force yet to be converted, Hattie, remains the focus of much prayer for her salvation, even as God delights answering that prayer. Tsion begins to teach believers via the Internet, and the Trib Force is graced to find a way to use fake biochips in lieu of receiving the official 'Mark'. All peoples start their quest towards Jerusalem towards the showdown of their lifetimes.
This was a book I reviewed for Tyndale House Publishers.

Most of the world, anyway. For the Tribulation Force, life continues to become harder as they resist Carpathia's "one world" religion and government...and the mark that all people must receive to buy or sell. Resistance means death.
So now we'reto the point where things are really getting bad. And stressful. Of course, if you've gotten this far in the Left Behind series, The Mark won't be much worse for the characters than in the other six books. But be prepared anyway!

Plans are being set to administer the chip consisting of a mark proving complete loyalty to Carpathia will be embedded under the skin of the right hard or in the forehead of his followers. His followers will then be able to buy and sell. Those who oppose the mark will be destroyed. David, a part of Carpathia's payroll and a believer, is worried about his and his fellow believers lives. More people come to have the mark of God on their foreheads opposing Carpathia's plan.
My favorite in the series to date promises action and suspenseful twists and turns. I felt that the dialogue and scene worked well and as the books before this this one also introduces new characters that I was able to connect with. The overall message was inspiring and I was again challenged in my faith. I was highly entertained and found the pages going by quickly as I was so immersed into the storyline. Highly recommend!

Jenkins chronicling the events that take place in the world during the end times. The books follow several main characters as they fight for their lives and for their faith as the world makes its way to the last days.
In this book, Nicolae Carpathia (indwelt by Satan) has set himself up as Supreme Potentate of the Global Community, and he commands that everyone is to worship him. The people of the world will be required to receive a mark to signify their loyalty; those without the mark will be executed.
The line has been drawn between believers and those who are loyal to the CG, this time with a requirement. Believers all over the world flee for their lives as the Great Tribulation is ushered in.
This book was by far my favorite one in the series. The world is beginning to see just how ruthless Nicolae is, and for those taking the mark, there is no turning back. I was especially intrigued with the plot that surrounded Chang Wong, a believer working in Nicolae's palace. The Tribulation Force is now truly in a battle for the souls of the world.
This series of novels is a fictionalized account of the events of the end times. I enjoyed the whole series. While this book is geared towards Christians, there is enough action and depth to it that should appeal to all. The characters are well done, and it is easy to follow the many plots that are going on within these books.
