Over sixteen hundred years ago, God raised up a man named Patrick to take the gospel of Christ to the people of Ireland. Seldom in church history has any missionary been blessed with a more fruitful ministry. The preaching of Patrick was used by Almighty God to transform many of the Irish people from idol worshiping pagans into servants of the Lord Jesus Christ. The biography entitled The Life and Legacy of Saint Patrick seeks to vividly portray the true story of this faithful missionary, and to encourage Christians living in the twenty-first century to follow the Great Commission of Christ: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." (Matthew 28:19)
This new fully illustrated biography on the life of Saint Patrick is written in a lively and engaging manner, and will help readers to better understand how God's grace enabled one man to accomplish so much for the kingdom of Christ.
This 160-page softbound book, which includes 13 full color photos and 21 black and white illustrations, is recommended for ages 11-16.

Tell us a little about yourself. I am the father of seven children. My wife and I have been busy teaching our children at home over the last twenty-three years. I have had the pleasure to author or edit several books for Christian Liberty Press and Great Light Publications over the years.
What was your motivation behind this project? I wanted to honor Christ by telling the true story of how the Lord graciously chose to use a man named Patrick to bring the light of the Gospel to Ireland. It was my desire to show how one simple but courageous man who loved Jesus, could change the entire destiny of a nation.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? In short, I want readers to gain a greater respect and appreciation for faithful missionaries, as well as for the power of the Spirit of God working through the Word of God.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I was reminded of how perfectly God works out the timing and equipping of His servants in order that they might do the work of ministry and missions. I was also reminded of how much I need to pray for the courage to share Christ with those who are lost.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? My greatest influence is God the Holy Spirit, working through the truth of Scripture. I love reading the Puritan classics, as well as modern authors such as R. C. Sproul and John Piper.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: I have three children in college right now that need my support, so please purchase my book!!
