This book has a lousy ending. The heroine gets killed and the gospel doesn't get spread. I wont be buying anymore books by this author.

I LOVED THIS BOOK. It was very thought provoking!

If you really got into the story, it made you think what if this really happened...

The juxtaposition of a Christian who has absolutely no exposure to technology with the probable biotechnology of extending life far beyond our bodies' abilities to survive AND with the likely future of the U.S. political landscape {given recent laws passed} is breathtaking...and a little bit frightening in its possibility. I had never before read anything by this author, but he did an outstanding job on this book: the characters immediately pull you into their lives, and the complex plot keeps you wondering what is going to happen next. I found myself suffering Abby's frustration and angry at the slanted media coverage and the deceptions practiced on the public. I nearly cried when an elderly woman awoke with her new synthetic brain, desolate because she had lost her contact with God. I read all types of things, and I am rarely moved to tears; this book did that. It should be made into a movie so the non-reading populace can be exposed to a very possible future if we don't change our paths!

Wasn't able to get into this one immediately, but very soon I was hooked. It was suspenseful and fast paced. It also opened my eyes to a new/additional perspective on Christ's message to us all. Stayed up all night (and I mean ALL night) to finish it.

It was great...kept my interest throughout the book.

I would recomend this to anyone. The thing is it could happen and we should be aware. I donated it to the chourch library.
