The Kingdom of God [D. Martin Llioyd-Jones]

The kingdom of God was misunderstood in Jesus' time, and it continues to be misunderstood today. Over the centuries some have seen Jesus as a revolutionary with fiery message of political upheaval. They expected the kingdom of God to come when unjust social and political structures were overthrown. Other have understood Jesus to be a great moral leader whose example, when followed, would establish a temporal, earthly kingdom of righteousness.
