If you want your children to see other children enjoying these songs of God's Love purchase this and all the other DVD'S of children singing about the Love of God.

I was so excited when I purchased the hymnal, CDs, DVD, & piano book. I love the songs selected to be in this package. However... actually getting the DVD to find the song, load it, and play it is a nightmare! I wanted to use it with my Sunday School kids...but it takes so long to load any song...that it disrupts the flow of activity and kids have time to start misbehaving while we wait for it to load !! (I tried it on 3 different DVD players) Such a great idea... but I won't use it much due to the problems and slowness to load a song.

I love the concept. I even love the DVD when it actually plays. The problem is the DVD itself was apparently made very cheaply. I have an older DVD player that has issues playing low quality DVD's. My husband said this DVD is so cheap looking that it looks like it was made on somebody's home computer. For people with newer DVD players, this shouldn't be a problem. However, for us - this means it was a waste of money as it doesn't play most of the time despite that it doesn't have a single scratch. I have other older DVD's that have numerous scratches that will play perfectly in our DVD player, but not this brand new, cheaply made DVD. I'm pretty disappointed.

I am a preschool music specialist and I expected that I could use it with preschool children but it's very basic musically,not very lively and you need to play each song manually.Might be useful for children who can read the words as a teaching tool but I would much prefer using the cds wich are much more lively with the children singing.So If the children singing were added and it would be continuous play it would be much better and if there was some animation for preschool children it would be great.

So I don't recommend this product.

I bought this DVD to help my elementary kiddos learn hymns and I really like this. Each song has just enough of a colorful background and displays the lyrics for the kids to read. (Some reviewers said the background needed to have more pictures but I think that would take away the focus on learning the songs.) The music itself is a good tempo so the kids don't lose interest easily but it's not so fast that you feel like your racing through the song. If you are looking for something to just plug and play, this might not work for you. This is more of a teaching tool as you must play each song manually. They do sell a CD version and I'm sure that would work for a long sing a long session or background music.
