Bought the Hymnal and CD's combo for my small kids group with not too many expectations - sounded too good to be true. Boy was I surprised when I received a REAL songbook - both right and left hand music, as well as words; and, the THREE CD's filled with great easy to learn, new and old songs! And surprisingly - it gives the whole song! Many of these types of CD's only give one-two verses. I strongly recommend the CD and Hymnal combo. All of this AND it's split-track! Unbelievable!! So hard to find good ones. I feel Blessed to have stumbled onto this on the net.

Believing comes by hearing. I believe that by hearing, memorizing, singing, and most of all praising God is a wonderful way for children to learn God's Word. The traditional hymns have some of the most memorable and beautiful phrasing, which describes who God is and that he loves all his children. Committing some of these phrases to memory will surely be a guide as children grow and face the challenges of life.

A must have if you are also getting the Kids' Hymnal because you most likely won't know all of the contemporary songs in the Kids' Hymnal. And if you can't read music (like me) then you'll definitely want the CDs. One thing about the recordings on the CDs, the tempo is a bit fast I think, but over-all, well done. Children's voices, not adult voices.

This is a great addition to the kids hymnal to sing along. In the car the tape is on and the kids hold the book and sings from their back seat positions while I drive.

I love to sing children's hymns to my grand babies, but sadly didn't remember words past first verse. With these two items I have made two babies and a grand mom happy.
