I'm so glad we have publishers/authors out there that are producing literature for kids that tells them WHY we worship God without it being so simple that the true meaning is lost. Kids that use this hymnal will learn the songs and know WHY we sing these songs. The affirmations are great reminders for kids to ground themselves further in worship and praise. Also, the illustrations are wonderful

I really enjoy seeing the reasons why we sing hymnals. This book is beneficial to not only children but to their parents who may have missed out on being taught the 'whys' behind worship.

Great Hymnal

The "affirmation" sentences that accompany the hymns are concise and instructive. The pictures are an unexpected plus too.

I was not satisfied with this book simply because it does not have the piano accompaniment for both hands. It also had more hymns than children's songs. I was really looking for something with a lot of the songs we sang in the Children's Department when I was a child so we could teach them and use them in our children's choir. There is certainly nothing wrong with the book. I just didn't check into it enough before I ordered it. Should have called and talked to someone about it before I ordered it.

I've been looking for a book I could use to teach the kids in Children's Church some of the old hymns of the church. This is it! There is a nice variety of songs and the book is study enough to hold up to being used by kids.
