Filled with historical Bible facts, it takes the reader on a journey back in time to Bible days, a history of the Jewish people and their role in the body of Christ. Although it is a work of fiction, at many times it felt like a history lesson due to the amount of historical fact woven into the book. I highly recommend reading Identity Theft, Book 1 in the series first as I believe it will help the reader to fully understand and appreciate Book 2.
I received a copy of this book from Destiny Image and The Book Fun Network, Inc. in exchange for my honest review.
nkwbookreviewer5 Stars Out Of 5RivitingOctober 29, 2016nkwbookreviewerQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5"The Jerusalem Secret" is Book 2 in author Ron Cantor's "Identity Theft Series". It is a 240 page paperback novel published by Destiny Image that was so good I stopped reading it to buy and read Book 1 first even though Book 2 could be read as a stand alone. What a delightful find when reading something from an author that is new to me. This is definitely a 5 star rating. So is the first one. Don't miss it or Book 1.
"The Jerusalem Secret" is a fascinating fiction book listed as a fantasy. It is the continuation of the story of Jewish David Lebowitz. In book one he encounters an angel, Ariel, who whisks him off to Heaven to see ancient history first hand. David's family are devout Jewish people and he is reluctant to tell them of his experience. He is even more afraid to tell them of his great love of Jesus, or Yeshua as the book calls Him, and that he is a follower of Christ. Yet, he cannot hold this information to himself and not share it with them to provide their salvation. If he shared his experience with them, would they think that was mentally unstable? What a dilemma!
Book 2 begins with David in the hospital sitting with his father who is the patient. David holds his father's hand in prayer and is again transported back to the place he had been with Ariel, the angel from Book 1. Ariel explains that David is to be trained for his assignment. He has an important purpose. David is to bring the message of Jesus, or Yeshua, to today's people. Not just the Jewish but all people are to hear the message of Jesus through David. As David's training begins we are introduced to people that shaped ancient history. David can see first hand their lives and hear their powerful stories.
This novel is biblically based on its Jewish history and Bible stories. Bible stories were brought to life. It is a riveting tale that I devoured and wanted more. It is as much of a learning book as an entertaining one. It brought me closer in my daily Walk. It was phenomenal. I could see this being made into a motion picture that would be a blockbuster. It was interesting reading about the historical customs of Jewish people and enlightening to read what they thought (according to the author) about Jesus and Christians.
It is a well thought, researched, organized book that provides food for thought and the soul. I would highly recommend "Jerusalem Secret" to everyone. It would make a great Christmas gift for the reader in your family. While it can be read as a stand alone, I would recommend buying Book 1, "Identity Theft" also as they are both 5 star books. Get a copy for yourself, too. They are absolutely moving. I was given the book by Book Fun (The Book Club Network) and here is my honest review.
DonnaGeorgiaAge: Over 65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Historical Biblical fictionSeptember 18, 2016DonnaGeorgiaAge: Over 65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Wow! What a powerful and amazing fictional story of a Jewish man David Lebowitz who has just discovered and believes that Yeshua is the Jewish Messiah. While trying to get a grasp on this he is taken on a celestial time travel trip with an angel named Ariel. He meets and speaks with many famous Biblical men and women in the Bible: Peter, James, Paul and other Apostles of Christ. He is shown videos and experiences biblical times. History is being written right there before his eyes. The author blends fictional characters and historical Biblical characters with such realism that you can feel the events .
Ron Cantor has done a superb job in researching historical facts and information taken from the Bible. The book is filled with scripture verses. It is also filed with truths and will help not only David's character but you to understand scripture more clearly.
Although this is book 2 in The Identify Theft series it can be read as a stand alone book. However, I wish I could have read book 1 first but plan to read it as soon as possible.
Ron Cantor has been added to my favorite author list. I recommend this book.

Penny M4 Stars Out Of 5Epic AdventureSeptember 6, 2016Penny MQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4The Jerusalem Secret is book two in the identity series. This book is a very involved, dramatic read that will have you thinking a lot.
David Lebowitz has been taught a certain way by his family on the Jewish faith. Things occur that David asks God for help and he sends David on an epic adventure through time with Ariel an angel. She is able to show him the past like we have never been able to see. He is time traveling and even though he cannot change the past it shows him how he can save and change the future for other generations.
This book is very powerful and not something you just pick up and forget. It makes you really think as well as learn.
I recieved this book from the BookClub Network for an honest review.
MaryAnnORAge: 55-65Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5Christian History RevealedSeptember 3, 2016MaryAnnORAge: 55-65Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I was wowed by the information contained in this novel and wish all Jews and Christians could read this series. Woven into a fictional account that includes a man leaving his fathers deathbed in the spirit to speak with an angel and biblical characters, David Lebowitz learns the truth about the Messiah and the history of His followers. The heavenly classroom provides a mind-exploding education as David must revise his view of the truth. The story ramps up the tension while Davids personal life seems to be disintegrating as his spiritual life is thrown for a loop. Satan fights against his awakening, but God wants David to become His mouthpiece. Will Davids family and rabbi understand or will they totally reject him? I have not read the first book in the Identity Theft series but want to read them all. Ron Cantor has penned a well-thought-out tale with a strong protagonist. The theology slows the pace at times, but is necessary to the story. I received this book from Book Fun Club in exchange for an honest review.
