OKpreacherOklahomaAge: 55-65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5An excellent primer!October 4, 2011OKpreacherOklahomaAge: 55-65Gender: maleQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5In spite of what the church says it believes, for too long it has contented itself with an annual visit to the Kingdom of God. Delighted with knowing a few of the words, seeing a few of the sights, & getting our passports stamped, we have grown content in a "Babylon-like" world. What the author presses us to do is to take up new citizenship! With 17 centuries of lenses to overcome, this book will "rattle" the old way of seeing--removing the spiritual cataracts, if you will, to aid us in seeing "what we've been missing," cross the border, take up permanent residence & begin to "think" like a native. In this hour, this is a must book for we must be Kingdom builders, not empire builders! It is an excellent "first book," on the subject: sadly, no index or bibliography, but would be great for a SS class or small group study. Written with the passion of a true shepherd, while not covering everything, it will take you well down the road & help you make the move to K of God living. But if you enjoy the status quo, DON'T read this book!

Exzavier5 Stars Out Of 5Strongly Recommend +August 26, 2011ExzavierQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5One of Ap. John Eckhardts best books.
This was almost like the culmination of everything he's taught on the kingdom of God in one book.
Whether you are just starting your walk with Christ, or have been walking with the Lord for years and looking for a greater understanding of the Kingdom of God, this is a great book for you.
I recommend this to anyone who wants to have a proper foundation as it pertains to the Kingdom of God.
Q Read Thoroughly5 Stars Out Of 5Very Comprehensive, Challenging, and EnlighteningJuly 9, 2011Q Read ThoroughlyQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book is definitely worth the buy and the read. This is a book you don't want to read all the way through in a hurry. However, if you do, I recommend you go back and study. If you study while you read it, read the scriptures and pay close attention to the explanations, you will be blessed. The kingdom is invisible and so is the king. The way Apostle Eckhardt causes you to connect the dots of the scriptures and the explanations he give are clear, straight to the point, and not over your head. I particularly loved Chapter 7 most of all. I was truly blessed. I care not to spoil it for you, but he explains in the most basic way (I think), the kingdom and the king, the importance of worship, the ongoing advancement for generations, the simplicity of the gospel, and the need for the spiritual gifts today. The kingdom of God is not at a geographical place, but everywhere and for everyone. I recommend this awesome read.
