Wandas ancestors were part of the Anabaptist faith, and her novels are based on personal research intended to accurately portray the Amish way of life. Her books are well-read and trusted by many Amish, who credit her for giving readers a deeper understanding of the people and their customs.
When Wanda visits her Amish friends, she finds herself drawn to their peaceful lifestyle, sincerity, and close family ties. Wanda enjoys photography, ventriloquism, gardening, bird-watching, beachcombing, and spending time with her family. She and her husband, Richard, have been blessed with two grown children, six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Ms. Brunstetter knows how to craft an emotionally gripping story that grabs hold of your heart and doesn’t let it go. Her characters are easy to fall in love with and you just can’t help but feel like they are your own friends and family. Well done, Ms. Brunstetter! This is the third installment of The Discovery series and I highly recommend this one as well.

Meredith is staying with her parents after a scare with her pregnancy but wants to go home. She eventually goes home after agreeing to have her younger sister go with to help her. Jonah Miller, a good friend of Meredith's from her single years, has move to town and is eager to help Meredith during her mourning time.
The Hope of Spring is part 3 of The Discovery saga by Wanda E Brunstetter. Just like the previous 2 books in this saga, it is very good. It is an easy book to read and I don't want to put it down. I can't wait to see what happens between Meredith and Jonah. Does Luke wake up, does he know who he is.

tammycookblogsbooks4 Stars Out Of 5The Hope Of SpringOctober 15, 2013tammycookblogsbooksIn Philadelphia, PA, it has been more than a month and comatose "Eddie" is still unresponsive. That doesn't keep Susan Bailey, his nurse from talking to him and praying for him.
In Bird-In-Hand, PA, Meredith Stolzfus has found a way to make some money for her and the baby now that her husband is gone. She is thankful for the help that her friend Jonah Miller has been given her around her house. Jonah knows what it's like for a widow, since his sister's husband died. Is Jonah just being neighborly or is there more involved?
I was glad to see that Meredith made a way through the worst of her depression. She misses Luke but knows that she can go on for their baby. She has great support from friends and family.
Wanda Brunstetter has a simple writing style that I enjoy.
Readers may not like that this is not an entire book. This story is a novella and is meant read to be with the rest of the series. You won't learn much from just reading this novella by itself.

It takes 3books to make up approximately 300pages. I feel @ $5 ea and 6 booklet type books, that the cost is approximately $30 and equal to 2 larger books. Had I realized they were only 100 pg books, I would not have ordered the booklets.
