grandma roseCalif.Age: Over 65Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5Amazing!!!October 3, 2014grandma roseCalif.Age: Over 65Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I've read several of Corrie ten Boom's books, several times. I ordered two of "The Hiding Place" to give as gifts. I was fortunate to meet Corrie ten Boom in l972, and spoke with her...what a blessing!. She was such an amazing woman. The Lord has used her in so many unique ways. I recommend this book especially for young people...so often we forget how history has shaped lives, and how the Lord uses the hard times, and difficult circumstances, to mold us into the people He can use to His glory.

Marylu5 Stars Out Of 5One of the most Amazing stories I have ever read...November 26, 2020MaryluQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Apart from the Bible, the Word of God, this book has impacted my life like no other. I bought a copy years ago and I've read it so much, it has literally fallen apart. The Hiding Place is a story of hardship, but triumph in the midst of that hardship. It is a story of unshakable faith in an Almighty God who cannot be silenced, and WILL have His way. An Almighty God who is "able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to the power that works within us" - Eph. 3:20. Years after Corrie was released from the concentration camp, she visited Ravensbruck, where she was imprisoned, and there she learned that her release was the result of a "clerical error." But it was no error. Her Great God had plans for her that the enemy could not stop.
Through the years when experiencing hardship and trials, I've turned to this book and I am reminded of a Mighty, Mighty God who will never leave us or forsake us if we trust in Him. In these turbulent, fearful times we are living in today, we need a voice of hope, and hope will be found in this book. I cannot recommend it highly enough. -

3hrtz4Him5 Stars Out Of 5Captivating story, God at work!March 14, 20203hrtz4HimIt's amazing to see how God worked through this humble, submissive, Christ honoring family! The testimony of the Ten Boom family is something readers could never forget, and this excellently written book is truly hard to put down. The details these women experienced in the Camps are not spared, the descriptions of their way of life takes you there, to another place and time. History revealed. The lessons to be learned will be with me forever.
