to transport you into another world and time, in which you find yourself immensely
enriched and entertained."

grace755 Stars Out Of 5Good to Read Over and Over AgainFebruary 17, 2015grace75Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I had a PB copy of this book in the 70's which I purchased overseas, with Penguin as the publisher. I wore the book out and am glad to have a fresh copy in ebook form. Those who love the beauty of the English language and its ability to describe details until one can almost literally see the setting and characteristics of the people and setting will love this book. I like reading sections over and over. Those who like a good plot, a good story with redemptive quality will be satisfied too, because the book also has all these qualities.
