Retired Amish newlyweds Emma and Lamar Miller have decided to buy a winter place in Sarasota, Florida. But it wouldn't feel like home if Emma didn't take her quilting materials and offer classes. Wounded and hurting people have a knack for finding their way to her classes for some quilting therapy: Jennifer, a pregnant new mom; Mike, a charter boat owner; Erika, a wheelchair-bound teen; Kim, a waitress; Noreen, a newly-retired widow; and BJ, an artist facing illness. And when Jan visits from Indiana, romance is also added to the class discussions.

Cecilia5 Stars Out Of 5Healing while QuiltingMarch 12, 2017CeciliaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Wanda Brunstetter did not disappoint in this installment of the Half-Stitched Amish Quilting Club series. This book can be a stand alone novel but it follows the story line well if you read each novel in order.
In this latest novel, we join Emma and Lamar in Sarasota, Florida where they decide once again to open their home to a quilting class. We are introduced to a new class: Jennifer, a pregnant new mom; Mike, a charter boat owner; Erika, a wheelchair bound teen; Kim, a waitress; Noreen, a newly-retired widow, and BJ, an artist facing illness.
As always, Wanda does an excellent job keeping all the storylines flowing in a way that doesnt confuse the reader. We also get to see old friends come for a visit. I love reading this series as we get to see Emma let God use her to touch so many lives. Wanda leaves the reader feeling like the characters are old friends who you cant wait to visit again in the next book.
