Jessica B.Age: 35-44Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5Don't Miss Out!July 11, 2024Jessica B.Age: 35-44Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book is so, so good! It's not one of those mediocre, try-to-be-cleaver books you'll eventually find on the mark down. It's an epic, timeless, read-it-again-and-again book that gets well-worn and loved. Each page leads you through a fascinating world that makes you reach for the next book in the series, and the next, until finally - breathless! - you reach a satisfying, endearing ending. Don't miss out!

null5 Stars Out Of 5Top Choice for our 5 kids!August 22, 2025nullQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Just read someone's critical review and simply disagree as we see the battles as epic, well done, and appropriate for these books. None of our kids have had issues with the battle scenes (current ages range from 4 to 15), and we're a homeschooling family who visit a lot with each other. I asked the older kids, and they think that by age 7, most kids should be okay with these books. We started reading this series in 2018 (have even had to wait for the new ones to be published along the way, and every book has been worth it). My husband has read them with our kids as a read aloud 3 times, and they still want him to read them again. There are deep truths and meaning woven throughout each book. The characters are very well developed, and the story is captivating. After reading this series to our kids, we've had such great discussions and enjoyment that each of the kids have their own set. Our 15 year old son (age 7 when first reading these) and 13 year old daughter (age 5 when first hearing them) just said these books are among the best books ever written (they read a lot). They're up there with The Lord of the Rings and The Chronicles of Narnia (but more age appropriate for even younger kids). These books are timeless and beautiful.

GJ2 Stars Out Of 5surprisingly violentOctober 20, 2024GJQuality: 5Value: 3Meets Expectations: 1This series is well written and suspense filled but they are non stop violence even for adults. Even the small young female characters are stabbed punched kicked drug into holes. I would not recommend these especially for children, there is enough bullying and senseless violence in this world we do not need to fill young minds with more
