A small New Testament passes through the hands of 14 strangers, including a young boy who runs away after he accidentally sets his home on fire, a young couple who must deal with the tragic loss of their child, and a woman hurting from her husband's infidelity. Each person has a decision to make. While some let the opportunity slip away, others find hope and meaning in the small Bible when they need it most. The first faith-based, silent feature film, The Good Book is a compelling drama told without dialogue, using only action and a dynamic soundtrack. Dove approved. (12+). Approx. 63 minutes.

P. Zeller5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent filmNovember 3, 2014P. ZellerQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5"The Good Book" shows how a little handheld Bible impacts the lives of many in this family-friendly film. The Bible is passed to each person who looks to God for guidance during a particularly difficult struggle in their lives.
Once the movie started, our family was hooked. What type of impact would the Bible make with each new set of characters?
This movie is unique in that no words are spoken...we see only the actions of the characters. This fact doesn't take away from the film, but rather enhances it. I was impressed with not only the storyline, but also the acting. It isn't easy to put a point across without expressing it verbally. Yet, this film succeeds in that endeavor.
