It sets out the goal and lays out what isn't that goal. The goal is to personally come into the very presence of God rather than "picturing, harping on, or otherwise paying attention only to the signs that God must have passed this way, so we can be sure that He is up ahead somewhere." Reports back from those to whom I have given copies are "rave reports."

Rob5 Stars Out Of 5August 6, 2009RobIt is important to note that this book is written to the modern, lukewarm church as a tool to awaken hunger for God. I believe God uses prophetic messages such as this to stir us to passion for Jesus. That is the intention and that it does very well. It is not meant to be a theological treatis. It is transcribed from the author's sermons so it reads very conversationally. Don't miss the message of this book! God, out of His grace, pursues us and has drawn near to us first, but He stirs something in our hearts that cause us to seek after Him and to hunger for Him to awaken us from apathy.
