We recently purchased 31 copies of this book as a gift from our church to our preschool graduates. We chose The Gift that I can give because we wanted our preschoolers to see howw they could help after the COVID shut down. The aweful events since then have made this book even more timely. I would recomend it to anyone who wants to help a child through stressful times.

Bright and cheerful about the gift within . I really was hoping for more of a how to give than what to give book but it is still good.

The Gift That I Can Give is a sweet, rhythmic book for very young children of the 'gifts' that God gives us. We in turn are blessed by them. Then we turn around and give them to others. Things like cheering on a friend, visiting the sick, and feeding the hungry. The pictures that go along with this book are so sweet and fun to look at with little ones. I enjoyed reading this one by Kathie Lee Gifford.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Happy, smiling faces, a touch of glitter on the cover, primary colors in watercolors, sweet illustrations all combined with a soft rhyming text that guides young children in focusing their thoughts on their relationship with Almighty God.

    Sweet. Charming.

This is essentially a short rhyme that encourages one to be the best they can at that for which they have a gift or talent, and how that talent or gift is given to them from the bounty of God's love for them.

The story encourages giving love and kindness, help and gentleness, and one's all in that they do.

    A nice little book.

DISCLOSURE: I received a complimentary copy from the BookLook Reviewers program on behalf of Thomas Nelson Publishing and the author to facilitate this review. Opinions are mine, alone, and are freely given.

THE GIFT THAT I CAN GIVE is a cute, well-done book for kids. I love that it implies that no matter what you are talented at - dance, sports, kindness, etc, one gift that you can give is LOVE. It encourages children to show love to animals and other people.

The colorful and well-done illustrations will keep kids attention, and I love the glittery touch on the butterflies on the cover. The verses are well-written and engaging and will generate discussion.

A cute childrens book that I recommend for daycares, preschools, libraries, and families.

I was given a copy free. All opinions are my own.
