Tell us a little about yourself. I am currently studying with Northwest University for a degree in Pastoral Ministries. I have two daughters, two cats, and a dog. I served for four years with the Law Enforcement Chaplaincy of Sacramento as a Community Chaplain. Now I like to help with a homeless ministry called Church on the Streets or COTS.
What was your motivation behind this project? I enjoy writing fiction. I had an especially vivid dream about a giant chasing me one night, so I wrote a story about it after researching facts about "giantology" and secret societies. I wanted to reach out to the fringe community, and conspiracy theorist (Christian or not) to give them hope for the future.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? A concept of how God's grace works in the lives of everyday people from all walks of life. No danger is too big for God to handle.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? I feel blessed by the Christians whom I have corresponded with while doing research. They graciously shared their own beliefs, theories, and factual information about giants, aliens, and Genesis 6 as well as the gospel.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I really like Frank Peretti's books. My favorites were "The Oath," "This Present Darkness," and "Piercing The Darkness."
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: "The Gideon Dimension" is just a story, but I am hoping people will draw closer to Jesus while reading it. Dreams from God can offer a very interesting experience that lasts a lifetime. Although my book is a work of fiction, I do hope the scriptures and information provided are useful to believers, should the Anti-Christ become manifest in our lifetime.
