Publisher's Description

The story follows Toby the tumbleweed as he carelessly tumbles through life. While he believes he lives a free life, we will see he is always influenced or carried along by something other than himself. The reader will find that through Toby's careless life choices, he often becomes stuck. Unable to understand, Toby relies on the Gardner to free him from the captivity created by his life choices.

We learn through the Gardner's devotion that no matter where we choose to go in life, he will always be there offering us true freedom and never-ending love.

Author/Artist Review

Tell us a little about yourself.  A proud father of three daughters and one son. I have attended my church, Landmark Baptist Temple since 1974. I have had the honor to volunteer in our childrens ministry for the past five years. Just an average guy who has received more blessings than I deserve.

What was your motivation behind this project?  After losing our son in 2007 the Lord opened many doors for us. It began with working in the sunken garden of our church. We needed a place to regain our strength, and it gave us much more. The Lord blessed us with peace and guided us through our struggle. Again the Lord opened another door and we soon were volunteering in the children's ministry. This is were the Gardener books began. Written as life lessons, they soon became books. The Lord has truly blessed us.

What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  I hope that Toby the Tumbleweed, being the first in the series, finds a special place with all who read it.

How were you personally impacted by working on this project?  Trusting the Lord, my family found peace. There is purpose in all things, even if we dont see it at first. Be still, and the Lord will show the way. In my families case we were given peace and love. We were comforted in our time of need. By trusting the Lord we were blessed above imagination. Everything to His glory.

Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know:  I thank you for your time, and hope you enjoy this story. God bless.
