Born in Yonkers, Steve Poses came to Philadelphia to study at University of Pennsylvania. In 1973, with a few cookbooks, a six-burner stove, and a passionate belief in the potential for restaurants to enliven city life, he opened Frog, a groundbreaking restaurant at 16th and Spruce streets. Steve is also the author of At Home.
