Product Description

This remarkable novel recounts the conversion of Flavius Sabinus, mayor of Rome under Nero. The excesses of the first-century, the ploys of imperial politics, and the persecution of early Christians---it's all here. Characters and major episodes in this "documentary novel" are historical! 445 pages, hardcover from Kregel.

As Pontius Pilate was written so this book. Dr. Maiers notes in the back are well worth reading as it helps one to see clearly which is the factual part and which is fiction. He makes you want to keep reading and as in his other book "Pilate" this one gives you history that is exciting to read and easy to remember facts of that time period for future reference. Well done, well written. I would love it if he would write a book covering the period of history from Julius Ceaser up until the end of Augustas rule at the time of Christ. More please!!
