Tell us a little about yourself. I was born and raised in Minnesota but migrated to the "wild west" after high school. Graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Married for 36 years to a man who can only be described as a whirlwind! The most important thing about me; I am totally in love with Jesus and await His Glorious Return.
What was your motivation behind this project? Most of my nursing career was spent in community health and home nursing. People had a lot of questions about their bodies and health. I wanted to write an easy-to-read and understand book about the functions of the body.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I want this book to be a source of information, and a resource, about the wonderful and most amazing intricacies of the human body. Our Lord created us in His Image but "the parts" He has placed in our bodies for our survival and well-being are really quite astounding. I also want people to read this book with the awareness of the Great and Wonderful, beyond words, of its Creator, and the great love He has for us.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? It was a great joy to write with the intention of ultimately helping people learn about their bodies, and it was a labor of love unto The Lord. I could not have done it without His inspiration, direction, and blessing.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I love Max Lucado, Joseph Prince, Ravi Zacharias, and Joyce Meyer. Joseph Prince is the most inspired, dynamic speaker today, without a doubt.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Take the journey through the body and enjoy it! God bless you as you do!
