Renowned teacher, writer of the acclaimed The Spirit of the Disciplines, and one of today's most brilliant Christian thinkers, Dallas Willard, now offers a new six-session small group Bible study (guide sold separately). It inspires a timely and challenging call back to the true meaning of Christian discipleship.
Gracefully weaving biblical teaching, popular culture, science, scholarship, and spiritual practice into one cohesive group study, Willard shows Christians everywhere the necessity of making profound changes in how we view our lives and live out our faith.
This study masterfully captures the core of Christ's teachings in a fresh, relevant light, revealing a revolutionary way to experience God … by knowing Him as an essential part of the here and now, rather than only as a part of the hereafter.
Based on the Sermon on the Mount, Willard calls Christians into an authentic faith and then offers a practical plan by which we can answer the call. In light of sales of the groundbreaking print book, thousands of Christians will enroll in "Jesus Master Class for Life" … The Divine Conspiracy.
Filled with insights, questions for discussion, and applications that will help you connect a new way of thinking to actual deeds and a different approach to life. Out on the risky waters of faith, Jesus is waiting to meet you in ways that will change your forever, deepening your character and your trust in God.

The DVD fulfilled every hope. It captures the main themes of the book in a way that makes it possible to use with a class or small group that doesn't want to dig through every page and chapter of the book itself. I liked it so much I bought an extra copy to keep personally because I want to enjoy it over and over. I have learned much from Dallas Willard and feel like this DVD is a real blessing for all.

Dallas Willard has a gift for chosing exactly the right words to make difficult concepts more clear.

It was hearing Dallas Willard that gave me the determination to read him. There is a glut of "brilliant" people, and Dallas may be brilliant, but Dallas is gentle and good humored; and his mind is quick. John Ortberg presents questions you and i would ask Dallas if we weren't too overwhelmed by this man who has thought through big issues, but practices the discipline of putting his thoughts in small words. The production quality is superb. This video is ideal for a group reading through The Divine Conspiracy together and discussing the big ideas it contains. I love Dallas Willard also, but only because he first showed love in the way he handled questioners in groups and individuals in one-on-one encounters. His character shines through in this video as does that of his friend John Ortberg.
Chris Musgrove1 Stars Out Of 5June 10, 2010Chris MusgroveI love Dallas Willard. He is probably my favorite writer. However, he is very, very dry to listen to. The DVD was basically a pastor asking Dallas what he though of certain sections, which I didn't find helpful at all, and very boring. I highly recommend the book The Divine Conspiracy; however I would stay away from the DVD.
