Doug5 Stars Out Of 5A Must ReadApril 4, 2019DougQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for The Cost of Discipleship, Bonded leather, black.Every serious Christian should read "The Cost of Discipleship". Bonhoeffer has so many penetrating insights that help you understand the beauty of life in Christ. Just his exposition on the relationship between faith and obedience is worth the read. But there is so much more.
And, the quality of the physical book is top notch. -

jmmHI5 Stars Out Of 5A timely addition to any libraryJanuary 1, 2019jmmHIQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for The Cost of Discipleship, Bonded leather, black. The culture today demands we all account for the cost of our own discipleship. The alternative is to approach the future blind and without preparation. D.B. lived *faithfully* in a time when this was crucial, and his perspective is valuable now.

doug1 Stars Out Of 5Revised review.April 24, 2018dougQuality: 1Value: 1Meets Expectations: 2This review was written for The Cost of Discipleship, Bonded leather, black.I had star rating wrong. This is an excellent, well written book with quality prignting and binding. As stated before tho, it can get a wee bit deep, especially in chapter 19. I recommend this book for all Christians. We Lutherans don't mind sharing.
