Product Description

One of Tasha Tudor's most-beloved works, Corgiville Fair is the type of book you can look at again & again, always finding something new in each picture. Set in a town "west of New Hampshire and east of Vermont", Corgiville is inhabited by Corgis, cats, rabbits, and boggarts-and the Cogiville Fair is the highlight of the year. Cotton candy, pie-eating contests, "Mert's Daredevils", the fancywork section, and the prestigious goat race are only some of the delights marvelously brought to life by Tasha's gentle artwork and storytelling. 48 pages, hardcover with dust jacket.

Publisher's Description

In Corgiville, as in many small towns all over America, the biggest event of the year is the fair. And the most exciting thing at the Corgiville Fair is the goat race! Caleb Corgi has spent moths training his goat, Josephine, for the big event. But Edgar Tomcat's goat is fast, too, and Caleb knows that Edgar is not above indulging in some dirty tricks in order to win.

The sights, smells, and all the fun and excitement of a typical small-town fair are captured with humor and affection in Tasha' Tudor's text and marvelously detailed watercolor paintings.
