Have you ever wondered how Yeshua would present himself as the fulfillment of Messianic prophesy? if you've ever wondered what that conversation must have been like, this captivating book takes you there

"The Conversation brings to life that famous encounter between the two disciples and our Lord Yeshua on the road to Emmaus. While it is based on part on an imaginative reconstruction, it is filled with the throbbing pulse of the excitement of the sensational impact that our Lord's resurrection should have on all our lives." -Dr. Walter C. Kaiser, Jr., President Emeritus, Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary

"This little book does a big thing. It takes the age-old truths of the prophetic accuracy of the Bible and communicates it in an appealing literary format. In so doing, it portrays ones of the great apologetic tools of the Christian faith in an engaging and readable form." -Dr. Norman Geisler, Distinguished Professor of Apologetics, Veritas Evangelical Seminary

"I found The Conversation remarkable and riveting. Judy Salisbury portrays Yeshua in such a beautiful, gentle, perfect way. Tears were rolling down my face as I envisioned him through her words. She did a fantastic job with the Scriptures, networking them all together with profound significance--the mark of a seasoned apologist. The book, as a whole, is fascinating, captivating, eye-opening, and doctrinally sound. I also think it would make an awesome movie. The Lord's hand was definitely in this project. I can't wait for my Jewish friends to read it!" -Jennifer Sands, Christian speaker, author and 9/11 widow

"An interesting story, though fictional, yet The Conversation rings with possibility. I pray that it will have a wide reading and that many will come to believe that Yeshua is the Messiah of Israel!" -Dr. David Hocking, Founder, Hope for Today

"The Conversation is an excellent sketch of the sort of things that might have been said by Yeshua and the two on the way to Emmaus after the Resurrection. It presents a good number of the prophetic passages that we have reason to believe were recognized as Messianic in the early church. It gives us a good feel for how Cleopas and his friend might have reacted to these things as "their hearts burned within them.'" -Dr. Robert C. Newman, Professor of New Testament, Biblical Theological Seminary

Author Info

Judy Salisbury is an author, speaker, trainer and Founder of Logos Presentations, a multifaceted organization dedicated to helping believers live and share the Faith more effectively. She is also a home-schooling mom who volunteers on her local fire department as an EMT and firefighter. The Salisbury's live on the outskirts of Mount Saint Helens in Washington State.

Judy Salisbury's The Conversation is a fictionalization of the Luke 24:27 account of Jesus meeting two of his disciples on the road to Emmaus after his resurrection. Luke 24:27 states: "And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself"(NIV). The author takes this single verse and, using many scriptural references as a framework, develops her rendition of that dialogue.

Salisbury's long list of credentials include founder of Logos Presentations, certified counselor by the American Association of Christian Counselors, radio program host, and International Society of Women in Apologetics board member. After reading Luke 24:27 during her morning devotionals, she was particularly and strongly led to write a book expounding on what it might have been like for Cleopas and the other unnamed disciple to have the prophecies about the Messiah explained to them by Jesus himself.

Salisbury says her hope for this book is that "will be rewarded…and that this resource will help you grow in your confidence in the Scriptures, the fact of the Resurrection, and in faith in the Messiah." The book is written from the first-person perspective of the unnamed disciple. It begins with the two disciples leaving Jerusalem and being joined by a man on the road to Emmaus. It then takes the readers along that road as, chapter by chapter, this man explains to them the prophetical and New Testament Scripture references about who and what the Messiah would be. In the final chapter, the man’s (our) eyes are opened to who He is.

The book is short and easy to read. It is broken into well-organized chapters that would lend themselves well to personal or small group study, and, to that end, includes detailed endnotes and several pages for note taking. Recommended, though the price tag is a little high for a book of about 100 pages. – Jan Reber,
