Diane Maurer5 Stars Out Of 5high expectationsMarch 18, 2016Diane MaurerQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0The idea of confession snapped along as the book progressed. There really wasn't a stopping place because I wanted to know what would happen. I couldn't wait to pick it up again. I G ad high expectations from this book as I've read other books by this author abd am never disappointed.
IreneUnited States4 Stars Out Of 5Fans of the author will enjoy this bookSeptember 2, 2015IreneUnited StatesQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4It is always better to tell the truth. This book shows how a lie about an accident affected the main characters life for years. The story itself is slow to get into but the depth of the characters helps make it interesting. I thought the conversations and details were excellently written. I did however, have to put the book down a few times and come back to it to make it through. It was just a bit slow for my taste but still a good story. I would recommend the book to anyone looking for an in-depth look at how guilt from the past can make your life better or worse. I would also recommend the book to any fans of this author as this book was better then his last!
I would like to thank the publisher for the copy of this book I enjoyed reading. I gave an honest review based on my opinion of what I read.

Not up to "The Choice" level, but still a book worth reading. "The Chair" brings out how Christians can be so critical, if it is a situation they have experienced. "The Chair" also brings out that confession and restitution is God's way. The group felt the non-Christian was the one person who showed the main character true love.
