It is a large well made book with large easy to read print and lots of pictures.
However, the reason that I bought this was after hearing a Bible Teaching about the vision the Jews saw over Jerusalem as the Romans were attacking the city. This is in 'The Wars of the Jews' Book: VI, Ch. 5. paragraph 3. Look this up on the internet yourself. It is not included in the book. This Ch. 5 ends 1/2 way through paragraph 2 at "Nor did any one of them escape with his life.". And does not include paragraphs 3 or 4!
I contacted the publisher, and they assured me it was authentically reproduced from the original author back in 1850, and I am sure that is true. I just did not know some thing were left our because of incomplete or different copies of the text over all the years. I'm very disappointed that this text is missing since this is what sparked me to purchase this book. But this book is a great deal and high quality.

Steve Reed5 Stars Out Of 5August 7, 2009Steve ReedThe writings of Josephus are well respected in the Chrstian community as reliable and well written. From him we can gain insight into the life of Moses, the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. , and some truly fascinating background on the dispersion of the sons of Noah, the population of the nations of the world and their subsequent renaming by the Greek empire. That's just the start. This is a huge book filled with treasures, get one and dig in.As far as the physical volume goes, I can only thank Attic Books for undertaking such a huge project and doing such an excellent job. In a culture where books are becoming a secondary form of information dispersion, It's great to see someone putting out just plain great books. For as large as it is, it's light and easy to carry. The paper is high quality, the binding is solid and the illustrations are truly awe inspiring. Buy this one for your school, church or home library, you won't be disappointed!
