I love this book! I wish there was an updated version with more current prices etc. . . but, the ideas are still very solid and useful!

This book was wonderful!! As we began implementing simple changes that Amy recommended into our life, we were able to decrease bills, increase giving, and sleep better at night. We are striving for debt free living, and for making it on one income. We have our house on 10.5 acres without attached barn, and are living the American dream. Thank you Amy for this awesome book.

Everytime I go through this information, I find something new, something pertinent to a problem I am wrestling with at the moment. I am also from Maine originally (a true Mainiac) and grew up watching yankee ingenuity at work daily. Still I have learned so much and also the method of how to figure out the true way to figure out the frugalest choice. Amy and her many contributors are true inspirations. I am embarking on becoming a stay at home Mom with soon three kids. This gives me so much ammunition to stay on track financially. Be inspired!

After reading this book I feel as though I have made a new friend with the author. She provides you with the tools and information to teach you life changing strategies on how to live frugal. These are wonderful principals to live by, being a good steward of what God has entrusted us with. We have an obligation to learn these and pass them on to the next generation. I would recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn to be a better stewart of their time and money.
