wifeNmama_62 Stars Out Of 5clearly biasedFebruary 10, 2018wifeNmama_6Quality: 2Value: 2Meets Expectations: 2I had this book for years. i brought it in a Giant grocery store. Needless to say, reading it then and reading through it now has me concerned. I have grown as a Christian so I made it my business to formulate my own mind. Intially, I thought this book was great. It was easy to read. It was not boring. The author wrote in such a personal way. Upon reading it now, I have discovered that this book is full of the authors personal feelings. It is supposed to be a study guide. Not an opinion piece. When the author arrived in the Bible where Pauls letters are, he clearly called the Apostle a chauvinist. He did point out that there is a chance that Paul wasnt one but his supporting detail heavily emphasized that he was. That is problematic for me. Mainly because when I first purchased this book, I was a babe in Christ. Had I read it back then, I may have agreed with him. Now that I am slightly older and little more well versed in the Word, I can determine for myself that position of Paul is not accurate. When studying the Bible, we need to state the facts. Our personal opinions are just that.
