jgrace5 Stars Out Of 5Wonderful Christmas Novella, Great Characters, Storyline!August 30, 2024jgraceQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 5This review was written for The Christmas Tree Farm: A Christmas Novella - eBook. After being away for years in Mongolia, Madison returns home to her family's Christmas Tree Farm. Her sister, Addie, has been taking care of things, along with caring for her grandmother before she passed away. Now, with different ideas on managing the farm, can they find a solution they can agree on?
I loved how the family united and Madison tried to hold onto holiday traditions. All the characters were well-developed with lots of layers. They were relatable and made it the story come alive. There are beautiful moments of tenderness, empathy, and a second chance at love.
There are many unexpected situations, joy, and the true meaning of happiness. I loved the ending.
I received a complimentary copy from Revell and a positive review is not required. All opinions are my own.

If so The Christmas Tree Farm could be what you are looking for. It is a quick and easy read that is filled with the Christmas Spirit. Melody Carlson is one of my favorites authors and every Christmas it is a tradition for me the read her new Holiday book. This year she did not disappoint with this cute and romantic Christmas second chance romance.
Two sisters are reunited during the holidays. Madison McDowell has been overseas on a teaching mission in Mongolia for the past five years. Now she hopes to surprise her sister Addie with an unannounced visit . Madiison is shocked by the devastation left by a wild fire in the community. Most of the family tree farm was untouched by the fire but she finds that it is in a neglected state. With both her grandparents gone and her father also passed away the sisters are both now co-owners. When Madison arrives she finds that Addie is not happy to see her. Addie wants to sell the farm but Madison wishes to work the Christmas tree farm and restore the business back to what it once was. Madisons old Highschool flame lives next door and Addie has her eyes on him. Unfortunately Gavin Thompson has his eyes on Madison. He now is the father of two girls and has been a widower for two years. Addie becomes jealous of Madison and with the sisters having different plans for the Christmas tree farm stress starts to come between them. Can any good come from this situation or can the sisters get things settled before the holiday?
I highly recommend this book to readers of Christian Fiction, Christmas books and contemporary romance. This book is a standalone read. The Christmas Tree Farm is scheduled for release on 9/3/24
I voluntarily read an advanced readers copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions expressed here in this review are solely my own.

Madison has come home, her sister Addie has been taking care of everything, but you get the feeling rather quickly see doesn't have her heart on the farm.
I loved Madison trying to replant all of those trees, and what happens, who comes to her aid.
This is a story of family relationships, lost relationships, and new family. Also throw in a bit of sweet romance and one sister calling "dibs". Really?
When this read ended, I really wanted more, I got so involved in McDowell and Thompson families!
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Revell, and was not required to give a positive review.
