This hymnal has most of the great hymns or Gospel songs which we or our parents grew up with, several with multiple tunes. The only one of note missing is "Victory in Jesus." It also includes a variety of newer compositions. In many cases the original wording of the hymns are used and with stanzas that you usually don't find in other hymnals. Brought this for my private collection and use and I am very satisfied. There is a nice size collection of service music included. I can't find anything wrong with it, and there is much to commend it. Several indexes included.

THIS HYMNAL PROVIDES EVERYTHING OUR NON-DENOMINATIONAL ASSEMBLY COULD ASK FOR. GREAT SELECTION OF HYMNS WITH WHICH PEOPLE FROM DIVERSE DENOMINATIONAL BACKGROUNDS CAN IDENTIFY. THE THEMATIC ORGANIZATION OF THE HYMNS, THE FOOTNOTES AND INDEX ARE ALL GREAT. NOT TO MENTION THE PRINT SIZE MAKES IT EASY TO READ & THE PRICE COULD NOT BE BEAT. OUR CONGREGATION JUST LOVES THIS HYMNAL.

Excellent variety of old Hymns and newer music. My congregation is enjoying it very much.

The Christian Life Hymnal is an excellent hymnbook. It is filled with the old classics that have been sung for generations, as well as many of the new favorites. The font is nice and big, making it easy to read if your eyesight just isn't quite as good as it used to be, and it is also well bound, so with good care, your hymnbook will last for many years to come. I think that it is an excellent hymnbook choice!

Great hymnal if you like the old songs--a great selection of songs that aren't in the usual hymnals... Great book for the price.
