All the medieval paintings and stain-glass portrayals of New Testament characters left me feeling that these weren't real people, or at least ones that I could ever relate to. The Chosen has changed all that for me, and for the first time I realize that these were people just like me, that God picked to work on/through despite all their human imperfections. This series will definitely spark a renewed interest in reading the Bible.

Best Jesus movie/series yet! There were so many magic moments (per my husband). We want more! The settings, script, acting - everything is top notch. Truly inspirational to be more like Jesus no matter the cost. Love, Love , LOVE!

DISCIPLES ARE PORTRAYED!! YOU WILL LAUGH AND CRY, SO MANY RELATABLE, HEARTFELT, TEARFUL MOMENTS .. GREAT PRODUCTION, GREAT ACTING.. WE LOVE THIS SERIES !!!!

This is, in my opinion, the absolute best depiction of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, and His disciples. The timeless truth of the gospel, the deity and humanity of Jesus, His love and patience with the disciples as they grow in their faith and trust in Him, I think is beautifully portrayed. I recommend this to everyone. There aren't enough words to completely describe how good this is. Every time I watch this, it just makes me want to read my Bible even more. It makes me desire to be more like Jesus and to see more people come to know and trust in Him.

The content and actors are exceptional. Very good at portraying Jesus and His followers as real people!
