The Celebration was the perfect ending to Wanda Brunstetter's Amish Cooking Class series. Heidi Troyer is once again opening her home for a cooking class to people in the community, but this time, she has a kids cooking class, since she now has two foster kids. While things don't go as Heidi had expected, they all end up learning from each other as well as from Heidi. Not only are the children touched by Heidi, but so are their parents. Heidi allows the love of God to shine through her words and actions and others begin to see their need for God. Heidi and her husband Lyle, also received the greatest blessings they have had their hearts set on for years. It is truly a celebration for everyone!

I have truly enjoyed this unique series and the many characters Wanda Brunstetter brought to life! This book is the third book in the series, and I would recommend reading the first two books before this book in order to fully understand what is happening in this book. This is a series you don't want to miss!

I received a copy of this book from the author and Barbour Publishing, but was not required to give a positive review. All thoughts are my own.

I was excited to read The Celebration; the 3rd installment of the Amish Cooking Class - by Wanda E. Brunstetter. Each book of well developed characters stands on its own, but it is nice when a character from an earlier book shows up for a cameo with an update on their life since their Cooking Class. Each character has a unique personality and life story; they could be our neighbors or friends.

Heidi and Lyle live in a community that values large families. We have learned over the first two books of their sadness with Heidi's inability to have children and the heartbreak many families go through. In this edition they have chosen to give their love by fostering children.

The cooking class brings together a group of very different characters who would otherwise not meet and brings a fun aspect to the group that gets together. Heidi chose the cooking class for the benefit of their two foster children - allowing them to meet and interact with other kids. They learn about other families and their issues by being around kids who are different from them, but they become aware that everyone in their class needs love.

The different families' stories may not conclude as the reader originally thought they would, but love is very evident at the end.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.

The Celebration is the third novel written by Wanda Brunstetter in her Amish Cooking Class series. I really enjoyed the storyline in this book as it deals with children from all walks of life. The characters are very likeable and believable from the children to their parents. I enjoyed getting to know the primary character of Heidi and how she deals with the drama if life through her faith in God.

The children in this story have real life issues and display how they solve their differences. Wanda has once again written a very entertaining and informative story for her readers. I highly recommend this book to other readers from all different genres. This is a fast moving story that keeps the reader wanting to discover what will happen next.

I was given a complimentary Arc copy of this book by Wanda Brunstetter and Barbour Publishing. I was never approached to post a favorable review. I am posting my honest review and all opinions expressed are solely my own. I have rated this book with five stars for meeting my expectations of a great quality story for all to enjoy.

Congratulations to Wanda Brunstetter on once again writing another outstanding story for her readers to enjoy. I will be anticipating more wonderful books by this author in the future.

Amish Cooking Class-Celebration Is a book of such overwhelming I'm ending, over powering love of a parent's love for a child - including the father's love for us. Now, does that parent have to be biological to love us with such a love of a parent? Noooooooo. This is the case in this book. It brings you on a ride with all the characters and that is just what they are, characters. Two are single moms, one is a single dad, one is of mom. Each and every one of them have twists in turns in their lives going on; for some it is good and some maybe not including the Troyer's who are trying to adopt the brother and sister who are orphans. Through it all GOD is in control, Amen? I received a copy of this book from the Publisher and Netgalley; all of the opinions expressed in this review are all my own.

What a wonderful novel and theme! i felt like celebrating through this entire book, and my heart was filled with the love and grace that each character brought to the story. It is celebration of being family and friends. Lyle and Heidi do a great job parenting in this story, showing such strong love for their foster children that my heart felt like might burst, it isn't an easy calling to love those children that need more than most but Lyle does lead Heidi into cooking classes for kids. And so the blooming of new friendships and healing begins. Especially for the kids in this story, having worked with students that have at times gone through tragic events, I could relate to the patience that Lyle and Heidi showed with their love and this class.

I would say that cooking can truly help to heal wounds, but it is also a passion that can lead to new ways to connect with those you love. I felt as though the author wanted us all to feel as though we could celebrate in any way with these characters a moment in our lives. It is a simple yet stunning story.

I was provided a copy of this book, I voluntarily chose to read it. This is strictly my personal opinion.
