Clark Rich Burbidge in his new book, The Cavern Of Promise Book Three in Giants in the Land series published by Deep River Books gives us another adventure in the life of Thomas and the village he lives in.

The conclusion of the Giants in the Land Trilogy follows Thomas as a much older man and respected Forest Ward. He and his Giant friends are not only missing from the Village but have been captured by the evil king of Westland. To save their lives and those of the Village they go on a quest. We all have Giants on our lives. Our parents certainly count as Giants. Certain teachers and coaches fill that role in our lives as well. As we grow older at some point we become the Giant in someone elses life. In The Cavern Of Promise we see Thomas in the role of Giant as he sets out on a quest that will either save The Land or bring destruction. The Cavern Of Promise shows how to become giants in our own right. The way we live, the way we respond to difficulties and the way we interact with others are just some of the ways we become Giants. I believe Mr. Burbidge, in The Giants in the Land Trilogy, has succeeded in showing us how to find hope and faith amidst sudden changes in our lives. I recommend this book not only for our teens but for ourselves and our friends and family as well.
