JeaniePhoenix, AZAge: Over 65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Entertaining angels unawares...July 13, 2014JeaniePhoenix, AZAge: Over 65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I love this book! Imagine a Pastor struggling with his faith, losing all he thought he valued and sent on to pastor a small, struggling congregation in a small town. Then a stray cat shows up and adopts him - a beauty of a cat - and begins to sit in on the weekly sermons. It is amazing what happens next. And what is really amazing is that, from the things that the Lord has done in my life, this could actually happen! A delightful book of faith, life, and discovering truths about the Lord from our hearts, not from our minds...God can use anything in His creation to make a change in our lives!

Gizmo5 Stars Out Of 5need itSeptember 10, 2020Gizmohow ironic I am from Pennsylvania and I had a cat that God sent to me the day after my husband passed away funeral director told my daughter kitty was an angel. she is now in heaven with him as of this past Friday ,
she was named after him and was always hugging me and watching TV with me literally, and she would lick my face and my arms showing me how much she loved me. she had his exact hair color and oh so many mannerisms .
but unfortunately cancer took her away. -

I love animals, and we have 14 cats, so this book resonated with me in a very special way. This book has it all. Realistic stories from a small, country town, animals, romance, loss of faith, and even some emotionally-charged scenes. I have to say that I even cried during this book--that is saying something. This book is filled with humor, and I honestly believe there is something for everyone. It is clean and uplifting.
The most important thing I learned is that God can and will use anyone. This includes people and animals. After all, is God can use a donkey, why can't he use a cat? The Christian message is cleverly woven into the story, and this is one that I would recommend to all. There are some hard issues in the book that many people will relate to.
I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine. -
