JaynieQAge: Over 65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5The bestest books I have ever readMarch 12, 2011JaynieQAge: Over 65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have now read 2 of the 3 books I ordered. The "Bouncing Grandma, & Case of the Mystified MD." They not only are good reading, the mystery is great, and the writing Ah yes! Alice is very good writer as a "newbie" with fantastic talent. I am looking forward to Mirrored Image. I must say I liked the 2nd book "The Mystified MD" better than the first one. I would sit and laugh until someone would ask what I was reading. I would then read from the book and they wanted the name of the book. There is so much profanity, ugly situations in all kinds of books. Yes,they are easy reading, but not very uplifting. These books have character, they pull you in, make you feel like you are there and can identify with the character. Since I am a widow, I have been able to really get into the feelings of the women in these books. I highly recommend them to anyone, and for a good nightly read, they are great too, even being a mystery.
Thank you for allowing me to put my "two cents" in.

rose mccauley5 Stars Out Of 5December 16, 2009rose mccauleyThe first book in this cozy mystery series by A.K. Arenz is titled The Case of the Bouncing Grandma, about Glory Harper, a grandmother who sees a foot dangling from a carpet when her mysterious neighbors move in. Glory isn't taken very seriously by the police department ever since a skateboarding accident she had resulted in a multi-car pile-up. But, one of the detectives seems to be interested in more than just her story. This book has enough twists and turns to make you feel like you're on The Whip at the county fair. It was a finalist in the ACFW Book of the Year Contest for 2009. A fun read.
