The movie producer was kind to explain part of the book of esther was left out. So i couldn't be to upset. Overall a quick movie for kids & family to learn how to trust God & pray alone with fasting.

I did enjoy this movie although they did take a lot of liberties in changing the story. Nevertheless it did adhere to Biblical principles and in no way contradicted scripture. The acting was good, too.

It was a decent movie, but way off the Book of Esther - they didn't even have the right king. I guess if you are

looking for just a nice story it would be alright.

The ONLY reason I still have this movie is because it on DVD with another movie. This DVD has opening statement that director took liberties with story and we should read Esther in the Bible. With that warning it has Mordecai telling ten yr old Hadassah to be called Esther. This is not biblical. She was told this an adult not as a child. Movie has Haaman and Mordrcai in contest with their girls on who will be queen. Haanan has a drunken looking wife and a pretty daughter that he calls ugly. The guy who plays king is young boy who should have pimples. I purposely dont watch this movie cause I dont want to get angry again. This movie is garboge... un-biblical trash.

This looks almost like a high school or college production. The whole movie lacks authenticity. The film needs new actors, better sets, and costumes. It lacks the feel of the era and gives little historical intrigue. The script falls short. The production looked too modern and the acting was lacking. I've seen the actor playing Mordecai in several other films. He's not a really good actor for the roles in which he's been cast. He's very monotone. I couldn't connect with the history, characters, or story in this production. Save your money and shop for another movie.
