Family Man5 Stars Out Of 5ExcellentSeptember 26, 2021Family ManQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book is printed by the office within Dover Publishing that deals with the occult. On the inside cover of The Book of Enoch is a list of books, the titles of which should not be read aloud. So I crossed them out with black marker and glued the blank first page of the book to the cover using wheat paste, so that no one can read them. Then I turned to the introduction and was greeted with more death. This is the kind of criticism that kills faith, churches, and nations. I skipped it.
Then I began reading the actual Book of Enoch. Now remember, the Jewish Messiah died for our sins according to the Scriptures, meaning Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms, which doesn't include Enoch. But Jude, the half-brother of Christ commends Enoch to us, and we should be aware of the content of this book. It is much stronger canonically than Ecclesiastes. I made a short list of reasons why I believe most Christians should read the Book of Enoch.
1 - There are many clear references to the Messiah.
2 - It clearly influenced the writers of the New Testament: Luke, Paul, Jude, and others.
3 - It shows and explains that we are personally guilty of sin in a way that I don't see anywhere else.
4 - It helps us to view the world and the solar system as God intends us to view it. Again, it is explained here in ways that are not found in the canonical Bible.
5 - It constantly praises God, The Lord of Spirits. I mean it constantly, plainly, unambiguously praises The Father, The Lord God Almighty in beautiful words.
I hope you read it if you're able, and doctor the inside cover the way I did. -
