When their plane crashes in the Carribbean, Alec and the Black are swept apart. Alec manages to make it safely back to civilization, and the exhausted stallion is carried by the currents to a coral island where a hidden valley is home to a herd of wild horses. While Alec searches the neighboring islands for his beloved horse, the Black faces a firey stallion who's not about to let this dark intruder onto his turf unchallenged. But another deadly threat lurks on the island - a rabid vampire bat. Can the Black survive and will he ever be reunited with the boy he loves? Recommended for ages 9 to 12.
