    BEWARE contains unscriptural picture

I made the publisher aware that the Beginner Bible contained an unscriptural picture. 1 Samuel 17:49 "Then David reached into his bag, took out a stone, and slung it, striking the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell FACEDOWN on the ground. The book was reprinted with new pictures and again the picture showed the giant face up.

Once corrected that will be a great Bible! Now...if I give the Bible I've suggested letting the children I give the Bible to re-create the picture and we glue a corrected version on top of the one in the book.

These Bibles are purchased for 3 years old at the church I go to. They love getting their first Bible. The price and speed of service are great.

This book is a good in-between Bible. Not too childish and not too hard for a child who is beginning to read on their own. I purchased it for a third-grader. I think she may have a little trouble pronouncing the names, but it should encourage her to read the Bible by being able to read it on her own. Colorful, interesting illustrations also.
