A poem is a small fragment of experience viewed close up. It hints, suggests, touches, probes, without preaching or pushing too hard. Poems are the doorways to the inner life of objects, experiences, relationships...the stuff of the extraordinary ordinary.
This new collection of poetry follows in the tradition of Luci Shaw's greatest books, such as Listen to the Green, The Secret Trees, and The Sighting.
Luci Shaw is Writer-in Residence at Regent College in Vancouver. The author of several books of poetry and prose, Shaw leads writing workshops and lectures on the subjects of art, spirituality, and poetry.
"Luci Shaw gives us faith writing at its most revelatory - a pasionate embrace of creation's radiance."
- Annie Dillard, Pulitzer prize-winning author of Pigrim at Tinker Creek
