null5 Stars Out Of 5It's a hit!August 17, 2023nullQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I thought this Bible might be a bit advanced for my boys but they love it!! My oldest (8) read the whole thing the day after we got it which freed it up for my youngest (6) to start reading a chapter/day. They love the Bible and graphic novels so this is a great fit for them. They still read their regular Bibles too but it's a great suppliment to their Bible time.

shrimptoast4 Stars Out Of 5Good, but there are alternativesJune 27, 2023shrimptoastQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4Firstly, I want to state that this is an excerpt of the Bible in graphic novel form. It is a shortened version of the Bible in an illustrated form. If you are not open to a visual translation of the Bible, this is not the book for you. Personally, I like being able to SEE the Bible stories because it helps me (as an adult) remember them better. It can also be great for teens and older children. I have not had a chance to look through this much, but I did notice quickly that every so often the printing seems slightly misaligned, and it makes some pages slightly blurry while others are clear. This is a little disappointing for a visual book. It's still good enough, though, so do not let that turn you off.
I will strongly recommend you also consider some others (perhaps to purchase in addition) because I feel like the market is heavily skewed toward the Action Bible, and there are some other great options out there: Tommy Nelson's Bibleforce The First Heroes Bible -- I love the colors and illustrations; Kingstone's single-volume Epic Bible or 3-volume illustrated set -- both are incredible accomplishments; Tyndale's Manga series -- if you like Japanese-style illustrations; and lastly, the 10-volume Power Bible series by 316 publishing -- if you want more cutesy illustrations for younger kids. (I believe the Power Bible may be a more Korean take on the drawing style.) Finally, I will state that some have pointed out the Action Bible has slightly edited some scenes in the Bible stories for this most recent edition. While I do not feel this breaks the content, it should be noted. I still think Action Bible is worth considering. -
Tabatha5 Stars Out Of 5She loves it!March 29, 2023TabathaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I got this book for my daughter (she's almost 4) so we can read together and keep her engaged, as well as, give her a visual for better understanding. She has been so excited to get it in the mail and TODAY it came! She couldn't wait to open it and look at the pictures and ask questions. (and it was really good for me too) It's so important to nurture our children's relationship with the Lord so they can fall in love with Jesus from an early age. Thank you so much!

frank5 Stars Out Of 5good bible for young childrenFebruary 16, 2023frankIt is good to have a Bible for young children to help develop their minds in Christ. The reading level of this book may be above some young children but can be read to them.
