A nice way to be informed about the true meaning of Thanksgiving, with some appropriate Thanksgiving songs.

This is an excellent book for family reading since it is written in two type faces depending on the age of the children bening read to! What a wonderful idea. It really emphasizes how important it is for us to hold fast to the values of the Puritans who started America at great personal cost so we can have freedom to worship apart from a National religion.

This was an excellent book. The texts were very informative and educational. The journal space in the back was a great bonus. I bought a book for all the siblings and we each wrote memories in each others books. The CD is wonderful too.

Thanksgiving will never be the same again. It's not just Turkey Day, it is a day of giving thanks to God Almighty for his blessings and this book is a great reminder!

The detail in the book is very well researched and thorough in its presentation. The layout and illustrations are well done and the CD makes it such a well rounded experience for kids and adults as we stop and reflect/remember Thanksgiving's history. What a neat heritage to pass on to our children year as we celebrate Thanksgiving by reading this book. It is also an encouragement to be intentional in our celebration with many creative ideas to have an attitude of gratitude (not just the 4th Thursday in Nov. but all year long).
