Grumpy4 Stars Out Of 5The Greek N T, A Reader's Edition - more than one errorFebruary 11, 2021GrumpyQuality: 5Value: 4Meets Expectations: 3In a January 27, 2013 review Jorgecito identified an error in tense/aspect and mode of a verb form (Rom. 7:4) and indicated hope that it was the only error. With that date of assessment, the edition may be the same as mine (4th revision). I, too, did not read especially to check the accuracy of the elements but have already found 20 such errors in identification of forms, Greek text (e.g., Luke 2:23 kriou for kuriou) or even English (e.g., p.184 note 39 on xarin has reaon instead of reason). I would look for a reference to the changes and corrections made in the new edition before I would purchase it. It is still an excellent tool for developing fluency but assignments to students would need to be carefully proofread to avoid some confusion. (Note: the Greek terms have been transliterated because of the Review format. The GNT is obviously in Greek.)

Readable font and same page definitions of infrequent or irregular Greek words make this the best Greek NT for beginner or intermediate readers.

NCreader5 Stars Out Of 5UBS Greek NT Readers EditionFebruary 17, 2015NCreaderQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4the UBS Greek NT Readers Edition is a helpful volume for the less than expert Greek reader. Text is large and print is clear. The vocabulary helps at the bottom of each page are what make the book a "reader." parsing and text notes are a plus. Tthis is not the tool for a first year Greek student. this is the tool for those of us who love the language but don't have the time to dig.
